Overview

The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge uses a magnetic float as the measuring element and magnetically driven flaps for display, requiring no external power source. It is suitable for various environments, from low to high temperatures and vacuum to high pressure. It is an ideal liquid level measurement product for industrial sectors such as petroleum and chemical engineering.
The magnetic float level gauge can be equipped with upper and lower limit switch outputs to achieve remote alarm and limit control. With a transmitter installed, it enables remote indication, detection, and control of liquid levels. Depending on the installation position on the container, it offers side-mounted and top-mounted configurations. Based on the working medium, it is available in two materials: stainless steel and ABS engineering plastic; ABS is particularly suitable for corrosive media such as acids and alkalis.
The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge has the following structural features:
1. Basic Type
The level gauge operates on the buoyancy principle, where the float moves up and down inside the measuring tube with the liquid level. The magnet inside the float drives the red and white flaps to flip 180 degrees. When the liquid level rises, the flaps turn from white to red, and when it falls, they turn from red to white, thereby indicating the liquid level.
2. Upper and Lower Limit Switch Output
The movement of the magnetic float with the liquid level actuates reed switches installed at set positions on the level gauge's vertical tube, enabling on-off control or alarm functions.
3. Electrical Remote Transmission
A transmitter is installed on the magnetic float level gauge. The transmitter consists of a sensor and a converter. As the magnetic float moves up and down, it magnetically couples with the measuring elements inside the tube, causing sequential actuation and generating resistance signal changes. These are converted into standard current signals of 0–10 mA or 4–20 mA for output, enabling connection to digital display instruments or computers for remote display and control.
